World's greatest stretch
Opens hips, groin and upper back in one move — the best single warm-up drill.
What it works
Hip flexors, Adductors, T-spine
How to do it
- 1Step into a deep lunge, place both hands inside the front foot, drop the same-side elbow toward your instep, then rotate and reach that arm to the sky, following the hand with your eyes.
- 2Step through and repeat on the other side.
- 3It hits hip flexors, adductors and thoracic rotation in one sequence — the single best use of two minutes in a warm-up.
Cues that matter
- ›Deep lunge, back knee off the floor
- ›Drop the elbow to the instep
- ›Rotate and reach tall to the sky
