A-skips
Grooves clean sprint mechanics and rhythm.
What it works
Hip flexors, Calves, Hamstrings
How to do it
- 1A marching/skipping drill: drive one knee up to hip height, snap the foot down under your hip, and stay tall with the ribs down.
- 2It grooves the coordination and posture of good sprinting.
- 3Punch the ground beneath you — don't reach the foot out in front, which causes braking.
Cues that matter
- ›Tall posture, ribs down
- ›Drive the knee, snap the foot down
- ›Punch the ground, don't reach
