Horizontal Leg Press
Loads the legs with the back supported, which is useful when the trunk is already tired from squatting.
What it works
Legs
How to do it
- 1Back flat against the seat, feet on the platform shoulder width.
- 2Press out to near-extension, then return under control until the knees are around 90°.
- 3Adjust the seat so you get range without the hips tucking under at the bottom.
Cues that matter
- ›Feet mid-platform, shoulder width
- ›Lower until the hips start to tuck
- ›Do not lock the knees hard at the top
