Pike Push Up
The closer the feet come to the hands, the more vertical the press, which makes it the honest route to a handstand push-up.
What it works
Shoulders
How to do it
- 1From a push-up position, walk your feet in and lift the hips high so your body forms an inverted V.
- 2Bend the elbows to lower the crown of your head toward the floor, then press back up.
- 3The closer your feet are to your hands, the more vertical and the harder it becomes.
Cues that matter
- ›Walk the feet in, hips high
- ›Lower the crown of the head to the floor
- ›Move the feet closer to make it harder
