How to do it

  1. 1Set up as for a strict press.
  2. 2Dip a few inches by bending the knees with the torso vertical, then drive explosively through the legs and use that momentum to punch the bar overhead, locking out with the arms.
  3. 3The dip is short and sharp — dipping too deep turns it into a squat and kills the drive.
