What you need
- ·250g beef mince (5% fat)
- ·150g black beans
- ·100g basmati rice
- ·150g mixed peppers
- ·25g soy sauce
- ·10g garlic
- ·8g root ginger
- ·6g red chillies
- ·12g olive oil
Method
- 1Rice on first — everything else takes 10 minutes.
- 2Hottest pan you own. Beef in, spread thin, and left completely alone for 3 minutes so it crusts.
- 3Break it up, push to one side, then garlic, ginger and chilli in the space for 30 seconds.
- 4Peppers in for 2 minutes only — they should still snap.
- 5Beans and soy, tossed for a minute until everything is glossy.
